People often wonder what health coaching is about and how it could possibly benefit them. After all, you can always “Google” it, right? But all too often, we don’t get the answers that work for us, or we don’t know how to actually make it work in our day-to-day lives. We need a coach. Someone to listen to our specific concerns and help us sort out what needs to change and to develop some practical steps to achieve success. We need someone who understands how the body works and the nutritional requirements we all have, but who can also see the bigger picture in achieving health.
You Can’t Control How Life Treats You, But You Can Control How You Treat Yourself
Today’s online advice often just puts you in a nice little box right along with everyone else who might be experiencing similar health concerns with a one-size- fits-all approach. It doesn’t have the ability to see the individual sitting before them and understand that this person is unique, and as such, has very specific requirements in order to feel their best. I don’t subscribe to any one dietary philosophy. Frankly, there’s wisdom in all of the dietary choices an individual can make, but the trick is finding the one that works best for you.
I operate differently than many coaches. Many coaches want you to sign up for a long program, and in some respects, there is wisdom in that approach. True change doesn’t happen overnight. It does take time. But just as those programs work for some, they don’t work for everyone. Some people have the ability to make changes and see results sooner, so making them commit to a long-term program really doesn’t honor them. That’s why I operate my health coaching practice on an appointment basis. You’re in charge of what you need. You decide how much coaching you want, when you want it, and you’re not obligated to continue if you feel like you’ve achieved your goals or decide that now isn’t the right time. It is my job to support you in your healing process, and part of that process is teaching you how to listen to your own inner wisdom – and that includes your coaching experience.
I do like to suggest signing up for a Face Reading and Birthdate Analysis as part of the process, as this experience alone will help you understand yourself and your own particular experiences and make your healing journey all the more powerful, but that is also your choice. You may feel you already have a good understanding of yourself, and I’m happy to support you in whatever way I can in meeting your health goals.
So, if my approach makes sense for you, and you’re ready for a change in your life and your health, I hope you’ll contact me and introduce yourself. Isn’t it time to feel good again?
